Join old friends and new friends for an afternoon of picnicking, fun, music, hiking, and relaxation at the beautiful Lake Roland Park! Much information about the park is available on their website: http://lakeroland.org.
BFMS will have our own pavilion with long tables! The pavilion is right next to a great playground. A singing circle, a story swap, an old time jam, a Sierra club led nature walk, and a clothing exchange for dance clothes. folk related CDs and books are planned. Come and meet the current BFMS Board and share your ideas about BFMS activities that you would like to see in the future.
Please bring a picnic lunch, a beverage, and a folding chair if possible.

Parking is limited in the park, so carpooling is helpful. You may also park at the Falls Road light rail station and walk to the park. If you have a disability, the park staff will assist you up the hill to the pavilion in a vehicle. You will need to make arrangements with the park directly. Please let us know also, so that we can further assist you.

The Mount Washington Whole Foods is nearby to purchase food for your picnic. Pepe’s restaurant is one of a number of good nearby restaurants to pick up food. It has delicious pizza and other yummy items. www.pepes6081.com
