Ever wonder who the band or caller was a few weeks ago?
Check the listing of Past Events to find out....

Due to the ongoing pandemic, BFMS is not currently hosting any in-person events. We hope to be able to offer in-person events in the near future! To protect those most at risk of infection from Covid-19, we expect that vaccination and pre-registration will be required when we gather again in-person. Stay tuned for more information - we miss you!.

Please help support our Callers and Musicians

BFMS encourages our members to donate to musicians and callers who had their BFMS sponsored gigs cancelled due to coronavirus. We are no longer accepting donations through our website, but CDSS has established a website for donations to musicians and callers.

If you cannot find contact info for specific performers, please contact our dance chairs, who can provide contact info.

Ann Porcella Concert
Join us for a exciting concert with Ann Porcella on Friday, January 28, 2022. There is no better way to drive away the Midwinter blues than Ann’s beautiful voice and varied selection of songs. You do not want to miss this terrific event, so mark your calendar now! This concert is free on Zoom. Stay tuned for the Zoom link. A tip jar will be available for all who wish to support this talented performer. From 7:30 to 8:00 we will socialize with friends. The concert starts at 8:00.

Ann’s Porcella’s powerhouse lead and harmony singing are well known among the members of FSGW and BFMS; having performed solo, with the Blue Moon Cowgirls, and with countless groups at many house concerts, jams, and festivals for the more than 30 years she has lived on the east coast. Tonight she will draw on more than 5 decades of sitting alone with her guitar, singing carefully-culled songs from across many genres. Word has it that Ann may be joined by a special guest.

Your spirits will continue to be lifted on Saturday, January 29 with this year’s edition of the Midwinter Ball. For more concert information, please contact specialevents@bfms.org.
